You are invited to be part of the team at Avon Health Center! We are a resident-oriented facility looking for a dynamic Full Time (32 Hours) RN Charge Nurse/Supervisor for our 3-11 shift who is a team player, enthusiastic, professional, courteous and detail-oriented.

Compensation & Schedule
Charge Nurse on weekdays. Supervisor responsibilities on scheduled weekends.
Position includes every other weekend and every other holiday.
- 32 hours per week (3pm – 11pm, full time)
- $38.00 – $45.00/hour as RN Charge Nurse (DOE)
- $43.00 – $50.00/hour as Supervisor (DOE)
- $2.50 Shift Differential
- $1.50 Weekend Differential
- Additional $6.25 – $9.37/hour for picked-up shifts
- $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
Job Responsibilities
- Administer medications according to physician orders and facility procedures
- Provide and oversee nursing care, treatments, dressings and other physician-directed services
- Maintain current resident care plans and ensure quality resident outcomes
- Review patient records daily to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Document comprehensive nursing notes and resident information
- Monitor residents requiring special attention and maintain awareness of alert lists
- Initiate emergency procedures when necessary
- Supervise nursing assistants and other assigned staff
- Serve as Charge Nurse during weekday shifts and Nursing Supervisor on scheduled weekends
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Nursing Leadership and Administration
Qualifications/Required License
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
- Long-term care experience strongly preferred
- Leadership and supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must successfully complete background check and fingerprinting requirements
